The Indian Music Industry had changed dramatically in recent years, the place of classical Indian music is switched with “Rap” which is one of the most popular and important part of not only Indian but also world music industry.

Due to the popularity of the rappers in India, many rappers are born from nowhere, they are specialized in various genres like mumble rap, rap metal, desi hip-hop, pop hip-hop, lyrical rap are gaining popularity.

Most of people judge rap by how fast a singer can sing in rhythm and tell a story to audience,

I am glad to share top rappers of India with you.

1.   Kr$na

A young child at age of only 14 years, a Kashmiri pandit Started rapping and become famous in one night, neither he was rich nor famous, he became star overnight only just by talent and passion for rap on YouTube, that song was “Kaisa mera desh”. And becomes most viewed song of India at that time.

Since then universal studios signed him and he started rapping in English. he is the best rapper in this list Top Ten Indian Rappers

2.Raftaar 

Raftaar is now one of the most popular Rapper, I think he is the only raper who started his career as a dancing teacher.

he wants to be a rapper and he tried his luck by writing Punjabi songs with name Dilin, and become a man who express his past or stories which are inspired by real life through rapping.

I might have to gave him first place in this list but that might be unfair with krsna.

3.Karma

{K.A.R.M.A.} He is from the city which is capital of Uttarakhand, yes correct, he is from Dehradun, with his insane talent and passion for rap, he started his career with writing poetry and songs and got Excellent chance to make songs with Zee Music. His real name is Vivek Arora

Actually, you would not believe me but he stutters while speaking. Even though he rap very fast, with great rhythm and meaningful lyrics.

4.EmiwayBantai

 

 

 We all know this rapper as Eniway Bantai, who’s real name is “Bilal Shaikh” in real life. After completing 12^thstandard he started to make his bright future in mumble rap. he sang many songs but, the song which is responsible for his most of popularity is “Machayenge”.

After this song his popularity increased vastly and he got nice position in independent artist ranking, surly I can say this rapper has guts to climb at the top position.

5.Divine

Divine who is also known for Gully boy fame, actually he is not unknown face to rap enthusiast starting from young age just like many other rappers done till now.

In his rap divine explain his past just like western rapper dose divine is also known as “The Voice of Street”. he comes from poor background, most interesting fact is he openly accepted that in his past he sold even drugs for living, in his rap we can also feel his unique flow of rhythm.

His one of the most popular song is “Mere gully mein” due to this song he came in lime light, and get famous.

6.Ikka 

 “Ikka” uref “Ankit Singh Patel” born in the state Himachal Pradesh, but he is from Delhi, capital of India. He started his profession with the song “Gadbad Gadbad” in 2014.

he is most well-known artist in the business, he even worked with Lil golu, Raftar, and Honey Singh forming team which is known as “Mafia Mundeer” but he left team after some time.

However, he wasn’t in limelight till. Then after releasing some great songs like “Bholeynath” and many other, then he became famous in individuals and got many popular songs in Bollywood. his specialty is in making story telling rap songs on life.

7.King

The kid with great talent and guts saw a dream to become rapper in 8^th standard, he draws attention of peoples on YouTube, actually this was just his starting, later he got famous by playing big role in show “MTV Hustle”. After nailing MTV Hustle he got an offer from Nucleya.

A person who was just writing his feelings and become one of the most sucessful rapper. Yes, it is unbelievable but it is true even when he was writing rap “girl friend” he had no idea about how to become a rapper?

He specially makes rap on motivation, or on his own feelings, during 1^st Phase of his career his parents oppose him strongly but Dino never doubted on his decision and with hard guts and godly luck he meets with the successes.

9.Neazy tha ba

 

Two stars of the sky fall in Mumbai slum area Divine and Naezy both started their future in Mumbai slums and become world rated rappers they got attention of audience by their hit rap song “mere Gully mein”, this song got attention of public and film industry take interest in their life and made super hit movie “Gully Boy”. They were famous even before the movie but now they are celebrities. Neazy had natural talent he wrote a rap at the age of only 13 known as “temperature”.

Since then he has a dream to write his life story through rap with his passion for rap music. I am confident that he has plenty of room to grow he might become NO.1 Rapper of India

10.BrodhaV

A boy from Tamil Nadu, started his career at the age of 18 who learned rapping from Bangalore. he start rap fight through online rap fight platform Orkut (this online site was developed by google for friends meeting.). he also released  his own album “Death patch”, with this album he got attention of all south Indian Music Industry. The special thing is that Story pickcalled him “one of the best rapper in the country”

Brodha V has his own mix of music style (the mix of hip-hop, Indian Classical, Carnatic classic and more Indian flok music.) His latest song is “Flex”.
